About the position

We are recruiting the best Sales Manager to spread clean solar energy all across Mexico. You’ll work directly with our Sales management team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s key goals. You’ll also need to understand Bright's model and priorities to help the sales team be aligned with the company priorities. The role entails planning and forecasting for a sales team of 5-8 people, executing and adapting the sales plan to achieve monthly and quarterly goals, coaching energy experts, and reinforcing training to make sure your sales team is implementing the best practices for conversion rate.

We’re looking for someone who...

  • Has experience selling.

    • Minimum 1-year of experience managing a sales team with successful results.

    • Experience selling financial products is desirable.

  • Is comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.

  • Is oriented to results.

  • Is organized and balanced.

  • Has a history of success.

    • Consistently achieves sales goals.

    • Implements the best practices for getting referrals. 

    • Has an average >12% conversion rate in 3 cohorts. 

  • Is proactive/competitive.

    • In love with startup culture and getting stuff done.

    • Creativity when problem-solving is needed.

    • Proposes solutions when finding a challenge.

  • Has leadership skills. 

    • Leads by example.

    • Is accountable for his/her results and holds his/her team accountable.

    • Gives direction to the team to stay on track.

  • Can influence other people.

    • Good at communicating with others.

    • Understands the dynamics to make commitments with other people. 

  • Is comfortable with math and logical reasoning.

    • Good at making decisions based on data.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Build a monthly plan in advance that includes sales visits distribution for a sales team to achieve the monthly goal.

  • Execute the monthly plan and adapt the plan as the situation changes.

  • Coaching and managing your team towards the goal.

  • Constantly shadow your team to create a culture of improvement and feedback. 

  • Lead daily startups to make sure your team is motivated and has the right direction for the day.

  • Implement an effective system with your team to originate leads and meet the referrals goal. 

  • Roleplay and work closely with new hires to help them get better at the skills needed for the Energy Expert role. 


Your Key Results will be:

  • Total Monthly project goal or kW goal achieved.

  • Referrals projects approved per month.

  • Conversion rate from RSV-App of your team.
