About the position

We are looking for a procurement and logistics manager with at least 3 years of proven experience in the area in a startup environment. This team handles everything related to identifying and negotiating pricing and service level agreement with suppliers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to manage the performance and career of the internal Procurement and Logistics team. 


You should be someone with the capacity to analyze the data related to material pricing, purchase and delivery, and customer and analyst behavior to improve the Procurement and logistics processes with tools that enable the team to hit their monthly collection goals. 


We’re looking for someone who

  • Has 3 years of proven experience in negotiating with suppliers and is capable of their management and compliance with Bright requirements

  • Is capable of identifying market opportunities and creating strategies with suppliers to reduce costs

  • Is data-driven and process-oriented. Is capable of identifying opportunity areas according to results and promoting standardized processes that enable business scalability.

  •  Has a strong leadership background that enables him/her to manage high-impact projects with multidisciplinary teams enabling the project to move fast along the supply chain

  • Has the ability to communicate concisely with stakeholders and align expectations to meet the required goals.

  • Amazing communication skills in Spanish and English (overview here).

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Identify and select qualified suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers

  • Ensure timely delivery of products to customers

  • Develop and implement cost-reduction plans

  • Develop and implement procurement and logistics strategies that align with the company's goals

  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements and best practices


Your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) will be

  • Estimated marginal logistics and material CapEx within the agreed budget on a USD/watt basis

  • 100% of planned materials delivered <4 days before an installation start 

  • 100% of unplanned materials delivered within their specific Service Level Agreements

  • 0% non-productive Inventory
