About the position:

An O&M intern is a critical part of the post-interconnect process at Bright. The main objective is to follow up technical visits efficiently: review, evaluate, and adequately channel all reports received from installers and solar engineers, generating diagnoses following system monitoring. The O&M intern must be creative and organized, able to analyze the information in the reports to detect areas for improvement and preventive solutions.


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is in their last semester of University 

  • Is personable and excited to help the solar revolution grow

  • Is organized and metrics-driven 

  • Is creative and excited to experiment with new processes to hit goals 

  • Is detail-oriented


Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • To ensure O&M tickets are solved within SLA.

  • To upload and evaluate all technical visit reports received in Zendesk within SLA.

  • To gather data and analyze improvements to close the feedback loop with the operations teams. 


Your Key Results will be:

For this specific role, your OKRs (upon which your success will be measured) are:  

OKR1.  Enable operations for market and channel expansion

  • OKR1: Create a monthly report of O&M Technical Visits.

  • OKR2: O&M processes documentation.


OKR2. Make sure 100% of customers approved have an excellent customer journey.

  • OKR1: Close and upload a report of 100% of confirmed visits within 24hr SLA.


OKR3. Maintain Bright Systems Performing according to simulation and production guarantee.

  • OKR1: 100% of O&M scheduled visits will have a post-confirmed status (completed/not_completed/canceled) and evaluation in 24h SLA.

  • OKR2: Reduce Portfolio Rate Offline of 10 or more days from 5% in Q4 to 4% in Q1.
