💼 About the position:
Join us as a Software Product Operations to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Software Product team, and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning the Operations team with the company's priorities. Your primary role will involve overseeing data analytics, generating valuable insights, and developing tools that empower all departments at Bright to make informed daily prioritization decisions. This, in turn, will drive business growth and enhance overall team efficiency.
🥇 We’re looking for someone who:
Has excellent logic problem solving and deductive structure thinking.
Is in his last year of data analytics, telematics, software, informatics engineering or similar
Is comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.
Has the following skills:
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of SQL (preferable PostgreSQL)
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex data issues
Process driven thinking
Basic HTML and Javascript (desirable)
SW/business intelligence tools and platforms (Retool, Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Github and/or Basecamp)
Logic problem solving and deductive structure thinking
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
Design and implement improvements to process to increase efficiency and/or data accuracy across all areas
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and drive process improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics to ensure the department remains competitive and efficient.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

At Bright we operate on the Objective Key Results system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results (upon which your success will be measured) is:
OKR 1: 100% SW request with an effort score >5 marked as "to do" closed on SLA
OKR 2: 100% of Software requests with an effort score<5 marked as "to do" closed on SLA

Salary range: $25,000 - $33,000 MXN monthly gross according to aptitudes
