Commercial Energy Expert (Sales Consultant)

💼 About the position:

Join us as a Commercial Energy Expert to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! Work with our Commercial Sales team and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning the  Commercial Sales team with the company's priorities. You'll be responsible for explaining to Business Owners and staff about energy generation, production, and efficiency and comparing our current model with the possibility of switching to solar.

🥇 We’re looking for someone who:

  • Experience in managing a sales team for more than 1 year. 

  • Ability to lead and motivate sales reps to achieve individual and team goals.

  • Experience at providing current sales reports and being accountable for team metrics. 

  • Experience analyzing sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.

  • Has the following  skills:

    • Negotiation.

      •  Navigate the negotiation process and reach mutually beneficial agreements with other businesses (B2B).

    • Prospecting. 

      • Identify and target potential customers or leads with PDBT tariff.

    • Closing. 

      • Close deals and secure sales, meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

    • Relationship building. 

      • Develop strong and positive relationships with the main stakeholders of a project.

    • Product knowledge. 

      • Understand the features and benefits of the products being sold, and articulate them effectively to customers.

    • Competitive analysis. 

      • Analyze and understand the competition to better position and differentiate the product or service being sold.

    • CRM Platforms. 

      • Use software systems that manage customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle.

    • Conversion rate optimization. 

      • Optimizing a sales funnel to increase the percentage of customers that close a deal.

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

    • Prospect potential commercial leads:

      • To spread Bright's mission to bring clean and affordable energy to PDBT Businesses.

    • Perform Sales Visits with  commercial deals:

      • To communicate directly with customers regarding the environmental and economic benefits of switching to solar.

    • Approve commercial projects: 

      • To analyze, gather, and submit documents to our database needed to underwrite a customer and close the deal.

    • Generating strategic solutions:

      • To innovate and build a better company.

🎯 Your Key Results will be:

  • At Bright we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your Key Results  (upon which your success will be measured) is:

    • OKR1: Approve  >4 monthly projects.

    • OKR2: Maintain an average conversion rate from Sales Visits to installed projects of 10%.

  • Salary range: $20,000  + Sales bonuses (About $44,000 MXN to $48, 000 MXN  gross salary for 100% of the quota.)
