About the position

This role is crucial to ensure the development of Commercial & Industrial projects while hitting quality, budget and time goals. A GDMT Project Manager is the liaison between Sales and third-party installers during preliminary quoting, as well as the owner of managing approved projects execution along the entire supply chain. This role’s goal is to become the catalyzer who transforms C&I leads into operational projects while always focusing on customer satisfaction.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an energy and/or electrical oriented formation.

  • Has an EC-0586.01 and/or EC1181 Certification or equivalent.

  • Desirable: PV international certification or diploma.

  • Has good NOM-001-SEDE-2012/2018 and NEC 690 knowledge PV Design, Electrical Design, Autocad and Project Management knowledge.

  • Has a Project Manager certification/license 5 years of experience in project management 2-3 years of provable experience in MV-connected 100-500 kW PV system development.

  • Has great spatial perception as well as analytical skills.

  • Has the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Has great negotiation skills and builds win-win partnerships.

  • Proposes smart and creative solutions for technical problems.

  • Is organized and metrics driven and very detail oriented.

  • Values proactivity as well as teamwork.

  • Has the ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables (SLA compliance).

  • Is personable and excited to help the solar revolution grow.

Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

Manage preliminary quoting:

  • Obtain and evaluate installer’s preliminary quote based on technical, cost and time budget, and customer satisfaction guidelines while complying with SLAs.

  • Manage on-site technical visit execution, from scheduling to deliverable validation while complying with SLAs.

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team in order to optimize PV & electrical design based on technical visit deliverables, as well as to obtain final PV simulation.

  • Guarantee optimization of planned PV & electrical design, construction and any other required product/services, while complying with technical, cost and time budget, and customer satisfaction guidelines while complying with SLAs.

  • Communicate final preliminary project evaluation, including quote, to the Sales team while guaranteeing alignment.

  • Manage development of approved projects:

    • Create project’s roadmap, supervise milestone kick-off as well as completion.

    • Evaluate deliverables and guarantee its validation.

  • Collaborate with the Procurement team in order to guarantee purchasing of the required inventory as well as on time delivery.

  • Supervise technical compliance during construction, conduct remote and on-site audits.

  • Manage interconnection procedure execution and successful completion.

  • Create and update documentation, including technical, logistical and financial data. Conduct commissioning as well as on-site project’s delivery to customers.

  • Conduct operational project’s transfer to the O&M team.

  • Conduct active problem solving in order to guarantee project completion on time and on budget.

  • Conduct active communication with third parties, Sales and customers.

  • Guarantee installation capacity: Installer ongoing recruitment, training and evaluation.

  • Negotiation with third parties, installers, UVIE/UIIE and any other required.
