At Bright, we are building a global movement to rapidly spread clean energy across Mexico and beyond. We do so by simplifying the adoption of rooftop solar via advanced technology and human connection. We’re fast-moving and results-oriented; we’re passionate about spreading solar energy as fast as humanly possible while having fun doing it.


About the position


We are recruiting the best of the best to be trained as Energy Expert to spread clean solar energy all across Mexico. You’ll work directly with our Regional Sales Manager and play a critical role in achieving Bright’s key goals. You’ll also have the ability to help shape the company culture and spearhead some of our most important initiatives. The role entails explaining to people about energy generation, production, efficiency and comparing our current model with the possibility of switching to solar.


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is early in their career -1-5 years out of college.

  • You are very comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.

  • Has a history of success -Attended a top university and did well there (high GPA or other measure of accomplishment like scholarships) or… -Had experience abroad in a top university or... -Consistently beat their quota at the previous company is proactive/competitive.

  • You are an entrepreneur, in love with startup culture and getting stuff done.

  • You played a competitive sport or... -You started a business or club or… -You competed in academic activities and achieved 1,2,3rd place or... -You competed in some sort of extracurricular club and did extremely well.

  • Is organized Is mission-driven.

  • You have non-profit or sustainability experience (meaningful volunteer experience, studied renewable energy, etc).

  • You’re passionate about making the world a better and more sustainable place.

  • Can influence other people.

  • You were a keynote speaker in academic events or.. -You raised capital or created partnerships - Interested in sales and commercial relations Is comfortable with math and logical reasoning.


Your tasks and responsibilities will be:


  • To spread Bright’s mission to bring clean and affordable energy to Mexico, while prospecting for customers.

  • To engage in direct communication with potential customers regarding the benefits of switching to solar with our different products.

  • To analyze, gather and upload documents to our database needed for customers to “go solar.”

  • This is a startup, you will help us innovate and build a better company.


Your Key Results will be:

  • At Bright we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies.

  • For this specific role your KR (upon which your success will be measured) is to *approve 7 projects per month.
