💼 About the position:

We are recruiting the best of the best to manage our credit operations, ensuring that we're underwriting commercial clients effectively and efficiently. You'll oversee the credit process, from application to funding, working closely with our sales and finance teams to ensure that we're meeting our business growth targets.

🥇 We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in credit operations, underwriting, or related field

  • Has strong expertise in analyzing financial statements, credit analysis, and risk management in Mexico and creating decision trees to determine approval recommendations

  • Has excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Is detail-oriented and able to work independently

  • Is fluent in Spanish and English

 

💻 Your tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the credit operations process from application to funding

  • Ensure that credit policies and procedures are being followed and updated as needed

  • Lead collaboration with our product teams to iterate on our products in order to better address market needs and risks

  • Monitor the credit performance of existing clients and take appropriate actions to minimize risk

  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure that business growth targets are met

🎯 Your Key Results will be:

  • At Bright, we operate on the OKR system pioneered at Intel and used widely at Google and many tech companies. For this specific role, your KR (upon which your success will be measured) are:

    • KR1: Build out our commercial underwriting criteria by balancing risks with customer and sales needs

    • KR2: Increase the number of creditworthy commercial clients by XYZ measure
