About the position
 

We are looking to hire an ‘A player’ to help build our internal accounting team. This Brighter’s responsibilities will include working on treasury, payments, delivering accounting information, and working alongside other teams to have auditable processes. The new team member will work very closely with the Head of Accounting as well as directly with our CFO.

 

You should be someone very comfortable in excel (and google sheets), someone who thrives communicating with third parties and internal teams.  You should be a fast and eager learner ready to soak in knowledge quickly and able to demonstrate proficiency and ability to work autonomously effectively once trained. 
 

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Accounting Degree

• >1 year of experience in the accounting area of a company or an accounting firm or in college accounting courses.

• Advanced English level (speaking 80%).

• Advanced knowledge of excel (and google sheets).

• Strong skills in concise and direct communication written and spoken

• Efficient prioritizing of daily tasks

• Knowledge of any of the following accounting platforms:

  • COMPAQ

  • COI

  • SAAS (desirable)

Your tasks and responsibilities will be to:
 

• Record accounting for two Mexican entities with less than 100 transactions

• Handle payment process (review and record payment transactions) 

• Support to Senior accountant for monthly tax declarations of ISR and IVA

• Related activities to the SAT portal (verify invoices and upload tax returns).

• Download and update trial balances for financial statements.

• Collection accounting monthly accounting information for senior accountant review. 
   

Your Key Results will be:

• 100% of payments are met on time.

• 100% of accounting information is delivered on time.

• 100% of monthly tax (draft) declarations for entities on compliance: ISR, IVA.  To Accountant senior to review.
