Technical Biz Ops Lead
About Bright
At Bright , we are building a global movement to rapidly spread clean energy across Mexico and beyond. We do so by simplifying the adoption of rooftop solar via advanced technology and human connection. We’re fast-moving and results-oriented; we’re passionate about spreading solar energy as fast as humanly possible while having fun doing it.
About the position:
As our first biz ops hire, this is an incredibly unique position to spearhead building products, tools, and data that improve the organization. The efforts you spearhead will enable thousands to build the solar revolution across first Mexico and some day millions across the rest of the developing world. A typical day may involve diving deep with internal users on sales and marketing as well as third parties installers, distributors, and financiers, to determine what products, dashboards, and third party tools we can benefit from then coming back and brainstorming creative and elegant solutions with our head of Software and CEO.
We’re looking for someone who has:
-
3+ years in a biz ops, sales ops, data, or product role
-
A depth of experience leading business-critical initiatives. You can take big ideas and turn them into a roadmap of features and research with minimal guidance.
-
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People love working with you.
-
Strong metric goal setting and analysis with the ability to translate results to stakeholders and recommend actionable product growth initiatives.
-
Experience with one or multiple elements of our stack:
-
PostgreSQL + PostGIS, EC2 on AWS
-
Zapier, Airtable, Zendesk
-
-
Extra points if you have a history of helping stakeholders find other ways to solve their challenges without needing to build software (either via zapier, airtable, or similar bizops tools OR by helping them structure a more elegant process that avoids the challenge entirely)
-
You can be based anywhere within a 3 hour time-zone of Mexico City.
Culture / work environment:
-
A fun, high-caliber team that trusts you and gives you the freedom to be brilliant.
-
The opportunity to learn firsthand about the distributed generation regulatory scheme in México while being a part of the fastest-growing startup in the country.
-
Unparalleled learning – we have access to an amazing list of advisors and investors that we actively engage on this project.
-
Awesome work environment - all input and ideas matter to us.
